Through Y&R I was fortunate to pitch Fisher Price a new social campaign focusing on gifting for black friday/cyber monday. 'GIVE THE GIFT OF IMAGINATION' centralizes around the concept that for one specific hour all activities are halted, and parents are to play with their kids, while sharing the fun through all different forms of social media. 'Imagination Time' was born.
These early on stages of playing, thinking, and discovering can help to mold and build a child's future, thus the connection to 'the gift' and the incentive for parents to share and participate.
There is a second part to this pitch in which babies race and people bet on it for charity. no seriously.

I really enjoyed helping a friend of mine develop the voice for a lookbook she had been working on. The aesthetic was genuinely organic and fanciful and without being too busy I believe we were able to achieve a similar tone.
"A graceful collision, a fanciful touch
The nativity of sound, but never too much
An effortless harmony, both fluent and bold
A symphony of style, a wonder to hold"
Quite possibly my first and most exhilarating project at Y&R to date. The mission was to draw attention to the emotion, strength, and grace that the River North Dance Company possesses. These wild postings encouraged the Chicagoland community to come and see what they're made of.
Through collaboration with a small team we developed a fully integrated new business pitch which eventually emerged as the first business win for Y&R Chicago in 2010.

Worked with a small team to create a PR tool that would serve as proof of the process, evidence of the human transition and put a face on the new look of Sears fashion. The goal was to reinvigorate the brand to become synonymous with style as well as practicality. Through an engaging and informative video documentary (paired with a companion website) about the fashion transformation underway at Sears, the consumer will experience evidence of this process.

I have been enthusiastic about drawing ever since I was a young lad. From doodling in math class up through my fine arts college courses I have always enjoyed putting pencil to paper. The following are two pieces that have been executed with your classic pencil/eraser collabo.
